Meagan’s Academic Center is a comprehensive homeschooling program that serve children in grades K-8.

Meagan’s Academic Center comes alongside parents/guardians to educate their children. We provide a supportive community for homeschooling families. We offer flexible scheduling, small class sizes, and individualized attention to help students reach their full potential. Our goal is to cultivate confident, capable students who thrive academically, personally, and creatively in an ever-changing world.

Our Academic Courses

Our Homeschool program provides a supplemental and enriching learning curriculum for homeschool students in Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies and technology with connections to Emotional Intelligence, Social Skill Building, Character Development, and Individual and Group Coaching. These classes are offered for grades K-8. Our learning programs are offered on Mondays - Fridays from August to May, mirroring an academic school year. Programs and activities are scheduled from 8 am - 6 pm. Our courses are available in person for all home education students.

Our Program Components

We offer the core academic subjects while helping students build their critical thinking, social skills, and character. By providing opportunities for hands-on experiences and real-world applications, we help students develop essential skills to achieve personal growth and development.

Mathematics

Our program integrates math concepts with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will develop a deep understanding of mathematical principles while also learning to apply them to real-world situations. Through hands-on activities, projects, and collaborative problem-solving, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

• Focused instruction in arithmetic, algebraic concepts, and problem-solving.
• Real-world math applications to enhance understanding.

Reading

Our program fosters a love of reading, language and develops strong communication skills. Students will engage in reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and empathy. By exploring diverse texts and perspectives, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

• Guided reading groups tailored to individual skill levels.
• Phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies.
• Creative writing and essay workshops to foster expression and critical thinking.

Science

Our program sparks curiosity and a passion for scientific inquiry. Students will conduct experiments, observe natural phenomena, and analyze data to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Through hands-on activities and collaborative projects, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

• Inquiry-based lessons in physical, life, and earth sciences.

Social Studies

Our program explores the history, cultures, and societies of the world. Students will develop a sense of civic responsibility and global citizenship through the study of government, economics, geography, and current events. By engaging in discussions and debates, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

Technology

Our program equips students with the essential skills to navigate the digital world. They will develop a strong foundation in computer science, programming, and digital media. By engaging in hands-on projects and critical analysis, students will learn to think critically, solve problems creatively, and become informed digital citizens.

Home School Program

Full-Time Program Tuition (Grades K-8) Mon-Fri 8 am to 6 pm

$8,000 annually (You may pay this in one sum at the beginning of the school year or make 10 equal monthly payments of $800)

Students enrolled in our full-day program will experience a supplemental and enriching learning curriculum for homeschooled students in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies with connections to Emotional Intelligence, Social Skill Building, Character Development, and Individual and Group Coaching.

Part-Time Tutoring Tuition (Grades K-8) $75 per hour

Part-Time Tutoring is provided in reading, writing, and mathematics by our FL certified teachers. We base our tutoring programs on the needs of each individual student to ensure the best results and understanding of all subjects. Our tutors are always ready to help you; they are friendly, patient and will make sure to go over the subjects until you understand it completely.

Full-Time One-to-One Tutoring Tuition (Grades K-8) $75 per hour / $800 a month

Full-Time Tutoring is provided in reading, writing, and mathematics by our FL certified teachers. We base our tutoring programs on the needs of each individual student to ensure the best results and understanding of all subjects. Our tutors are always ready to help you; they are friendly, patient and will make sure to go over the subjects until you understand it completely.

Full-Time Group Tutoring Tuition (Grades K-8) $200 per week / $800 a month

Full-Time Tutoring is provided in reading, writing, and mathematics by our FL certified teachers. We base our tutoring programs on the needs of each individual student to ensure the best results and understanding of all subjects. Our tutors are always ready to help you; they are friendly, patient and will make sure to go over the subjects until you understand it completely.
