With a diverse background in teaching and leadership roles, Dr. Brenda Joseph-Juste is an experienced educator. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a minor in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education from Saint Thomas University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership majoring in reading from Nova Southeastern University.
With a strong track record of improving students' reading, writing, and math scores, Dr. Juste has curated a platform that caters to the academic growth of many struggling individuals. Known as the Reading and Math Doctor in the community, she is a teacher, reading director, math, science, and reading coach, and an acclaimed curriculum specialist.
Dr. Juste's impressive resume is adorned with notable achievements, including claiming the top spot in the MDCPS Math in Training Bowl Competition in June 2011 and earning a runner-up title in the MDCPS Mathematics Teacher of the Year competition in June 2010. She was further honored with the Class of the Year award and the Teacher of the Year by the esteemed Archdiocese of Miami-Saint Monica Catholic School in June 2003.
With the goal of helping students succeed academically, Dr. Juste recently opened Meagan's Academic Tutorial Center, an institute dedicated to catering to students' growth and preparing them to enter college. Dr. Juste's passion for teaching and educating is the driving force behind the establishment of the business. Her goal is to positively impact the community by growing and expanding the institute and connecting with underserved students.
Dr. Juste's story of success is one of resilience and determination. Unfamiliar with the English language and the skills practiced in school, Dr. Juste did not receive assistance from her parents in math and reading. Despite all odds, she decided to take action and reach out to her community and neighbors for help. Her hard work finally paid off, and after undergoing tutoring sessions for two years, she improved her academic performance, excelled in school, and was placed in gifted classes.
This experience motivated her to start Meagan's Academic Tutorial Center and help other students facing similar challenges.
Dr. Juste's aim is to serve students through her student-centric institute and help them improve their reading, writing, and math skills in order to excel in school and life. She hopes to positively impact the community and expand the reach of this enterprise to help more students succeed.
